We are a small group of staff and parents. Throughout the year we organise fund raising events for the enjoyment of the children of Southwood School.
These include our annual Summer School Fete, end of term discos in December and July. In recent years we have also persuaded Father Christmas to take time out from his busy schedule to visit us!
The money raised through these events have enabled us to but the school much needed items such as a football strip, cameras, garden furniture for the outdoor classroom and recently a sound system for the Hall which the children will be using at performances.
We are always looking for more parents/grandparents/carers to join us and welcome the new ideas and help they are able to offer.
We usually meet once every half term to discuss our fund raising.
