On Tuesday 13th December, children in Year 1 and Year 2 would like to invite their parents and carers to come and watch their Christmas performance.  Please be seated by 3.15pm . . . . . . .

Across all three schools, (Downs Barn, Germander Park and Southwood) we raised a total of £370.00 for Children in Need . . . . . we would like to thank everyone for their support.

To support the national event ‘Show Racism the Red Card’, we are asking all our children to wear home clothes including an item of red on Thursday 20^th October.  There is no cost for this event, it is purely to support the value of RESPECT, which includes a zero tolerance of racism, that we share with all our children.

     We look forward to welcoming all our Year 1 and Year 2 children back to school on Tuesday 6th September and hope that you have all had a lovely summer  . . . .  Children starting school for the first time in our Foundation class will have been notified of their child's start date . . . . .

On the hottest day of the year so far, our Fathers’ Day event was very well attended by our families and the children had a lovely time playing, creating, painting, reading and den building with their visitors.
