The children were allowed to brush, fuss and cuddle the donkeys as well as take them for a walk around their field.  They also learnt about the ‘not so glamorous’ side of looking after the donkeys like ‘poo picking’, cleaning out the stable and making sure they had plenty of water to drink.  At the end of the session, the children pretended to be donkeys themselves and jumped over the jumps.  Good times were had by all and Primrose and Flash enjoyed all the fuss and attention.
